For more than a decade, Donate Life NYS has successfully educated lawmakers on the importance of organ and tissue donation and pursued the introduction, enactment, and modification of legislation to increase organ, eye and tissue donation in New York.
A Decade of Progress
We are proud of the impact we’ve made on the lives of New Yorkers in need of a transplant. Donate Life NYS’ efforts have led to a number of important improvements to the organ and tissue donation landscape in NYS. These advances have resulted in an additional 1.3 million enrollments in the New York State Donate Life Registry and countless lives saved and healed through organ and tissue donation.
