Join us as we partner with Rallye Motor Company to celebrate Donate Life Month and raise awareness about the critical need for more Long Islanders to register in the NYS Donate Life Registry as organ and tissue donors.

This year’s event features a special story from Matt Carlson, General Manager of Rallye BMW, who received a life-saving kidney from his daughter last year. Now celebrating his health, Matt is encouraging more New Yorkers to join the NYS Donate Life Registry.

Today, more than 8,000 New Yorkers are currently on the waitlist for a life-changing organ, and roughly 400 people on the transplant waitlist die each year due to a shortage of donors. The average national registration rate is 64%, but Nassau County sits at 42% and Suffolk County at 54% – by increasing registration rates, more New York lives will be saved.
